Gerhard Loewenberg appears to be in Iowa, prof. (and dean) emer.of political science (perhaps he's also called Jerry in some findings, but there's also a Jerry Loewenberg as a veteran of  WW II bombers and I can't find out if they are identical). Gerhard is married to Ina (Perlstein), "writer" or "philosopher", both appear among many charity reunions reports.
